Why IBC Tank Recycling Matters
Intermediate Bulk Containers are essential for storing and transporting liquids across countless industries. However, the production of new IBC tanks consumes significant resources and energy.
Each new 1000L IBC tank requires approximately 25 kg of HDPE plastic, contributing to petroleum consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, when tanks are improperly disposed of, they take hundreds of years to decompose in landfills.
By reconditioning and recycling IBC tanks, we directly reduce the demand for new plastic production, conserve energy, and keep valuable materials in the circular economy.
Our Green Initiatives
Tank Reconditioning Program
Our flagship program extends the life of IBC tanks by thoroughly cleaning, inspecting, and repairing them for continued use. Each reconditioned tank saves approximately 25 kg of plastic from being produced.
Complete Recycling Process
When tanks reach end-of-life, we ensure every component is recycled. The HDPE plastic is processed into raw materials, metal cages are sent to metal recyclers, and wooden pallets are repurposed.
