Why Proper Recycling Matters
Improper disposal of IBC tanks contributes to plastic pollution and wastes valuable materials. Each tank contains approximately 25 kg of high-quality HDPE plastic that can be recycled.
By choosing responsible recycling, you help conserve resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support the circular economy.
We provide documentation of proper disposal for your environmental compliance records.

Recycling FAQs
Is there a charge for recycling?
For quantities of 5+ tanks, we offer free pickup and recycling in Greater Vancouver. Smaller quantities may have a nominal pickup fee, or you can drop off at our facility for free.
Do tanks need to be cleaned first?
No, we handle cleaning as part of our process. However, tanks should be emptied of any remaining liquid contents before pickup.
What about tanks that held hazardous materials?
We can process tanks that held most hazardous materials. We need to know the previous contents so we can handle them appropriately. Some materials may require specialized processing.
Will I receive documentation?
Yes, we provide a Certificate of Recycling that documents the quantity of tanks processed. This can be used for your environmental compliance and sustainability reporting.
Do you pay for tanks being recycled?
Tanks with resale value (repairable or suitable for reconditioning) may qualify for payment. True end-of-life tanks are recycled at no charge. We'll assess your tanks and let you know.
