What Happens to Tanks That Don't Pass?
Repair Assessment
If fixable, tanks go to our repair department for valve replacement, cage repair, or other work.

Responsible Recycling
Beyond-repair tanks are fully recycled - HDPE plastic, steel, and pallet materials are all processed.

Make an Environmental Difference
Choosing used IBC tanks isn't just good for your budget - it's good for the planet. Every tank we recondition represents resources saved and waste prevented.
The Bigger Picture
In 2024 alone, we kept over 10,000 IBC tanks from entering landfills through our reconditioning program.
That represents 250 metric tons of plastic that didn't need to be produced from petroleum.
And 150 metric tons of steel that was reused instead of being smelted from ore.
When you buy used, you're part of the solution. Thank you for choosing sustainability.
Common Questions About Used Tanks
What did these tanks previously hold?
Our used tanks come from various industries. Most previously held water-based products, soaps, food-grade liquids, or industrial chemicals. We document known previous contents and clean tanks accordingly. Tanks that held hazardous materials undergo specialized cleaning or are marked for industrial-only use.
How do you determine the grade?
We assign grades based on cosmetic condition, functionality, and age. Grade A tanks look nearly new with minimal wear. Grade B tanks show normal use with minor scratches or fading. Grade C tanks have visible wear, possible repairs, but remain fully functional. All grades pass our quality inspection.
Can I see photos before ordering?
Yes! For larger orders or if you have specific requirements, we can provide photos of available inventory. Keep in mind that our stock rotates frequently, so specific tanks may sell before you decide.
What if I receive a tank that doesn't meet my expectations?
Customer satisfaction is our priority. If a tank significantly differs from its described grade, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund. Normal wear consistent with the grade is expected.
Do used tanks come with any warranty?
We guarantee functionality at time of sale - valves work, bladders don't leak, and cages are stable. However, used tanks are sold as-is regarding cosmetic condition. For warranty-backed tanks, consider our new tank options.
How should I prepare the tank before use?
Even though we clean all tanks, we recommend rinsing with water before first use. For sensitive applications, do a test rinse with your intended contents. Store tanks out of direct sunlight when possible to extend their lifespan.
