What this referral service collects and how it is used
Last updated: October 2026
Introduction
Vancouver IBC Tanks is a referral service. We pass IBC tank quote requests to partner suppliers in our network, who prepare quotes and follow up. This policy explains what the site collects and what happens to it.
What the Form Collects
When you submit a quote request, we collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and postal code
- Your company name and street address, if you provide them
- What you need: service, product, quantity, timeframe, and your message
- The page you submitted from and how you reached the site, such as the referring site or campaign
How Your Request Is Shared
Your request goes to the 1DB lead platform, which records it, and then to partner suppliers so they can prepare a quote and contact you. Partner suppliers handle your details under their own privacy practices. We do not sell your information.
Text Messages
If you tick the text message box on the form, you agree to receive texts about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Analytics and Cookies
This site uses PostHog analytics to count visits and see how pages are used. Visitors in Europe and visitors whose browser sends a privacy signal are counted without cookies or storage on their device. The site sets no advertising cookies.
Retention
We keep request details only as long as needed to handle your request and keep reasonable business records, then delete them.
Your Choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop being contacted. Requests already passed to a partner supplier may also need to be raised with that supplier.
