Selling FAQs
How many tanks do I need to sell?
We purchase any quantity from a single tank to hundreds. For larger quantities (50+), we can often arrange on-site pickup even for remote locations.
Do the tanks need to be cleaned?
No, tanks don't need to be professionally cleaned. However, they should be emptied of contents. Cleaner tanks do receive higher prices.
What if my tanks held hazardous materials?
We can still accept them, but we need to know what was stored. Tanks that held certain hazardous materials require special handling and may have lower value or only qualify for recycling.
How far will you travel for pickup?
We offer free pickup throughout the Greater Vancouver Area for quantities of 5+ tanks. For smaller quantities or locations outside our primary area, a pickup fee may apply.
Can I drop off tanks instead of pickup?
Yes, you're welcome to bring tanks to our Burnaby facility during business hours. This can be faster and may result in slightly higher prices since we save on transportation.
How is payment made?
For most transactions, we pay via e-transfer or cheque on the same day as pickup. For large orders, we can arrange direct deposit to your business account.
